It was the last class before she go again. It was in a case of - who knows if there will be a connection to anything she was teaching till now. I almost told her in the last moment that I won't come cause I'm sick. Although I'm sick - I'm glad I went and did it.
I came almost in the last moment. Lots of mess. The curtains for the street were open and a strong day light got in. There were many people which not all I knew what they do there. And one use wine glasses. Before the class I took there was a birthday party. One more birthday party. Someone who I don't know and had a birthday celebrated it with 2.5 hours of workshop by Adi. She took her friends for it. The red head who learned with me few months last year with the bata was one of them. It took me some work to make her notice me. I needed to tell her that I heard she took a birth. It was a drama to change. There isn't a real dressing room there, only a curtain which was already taken and the studio was open to the street. I went to the loo. One moment which I went out to wash my hands after other things - someone from the party came in. I asked her my stuff and asked if the curtain is in a way I can change there. In the end she let me change there.
We took our places to start class. This time I was near the window of the street, not too far from the fan. Still hot. Granada came with her dog and went away to buy a bottle of water. We started stretching. Granada came back. She wanted to keep her dog out. We all told her that she should bring in the dog. Someone said that maybe the dog will be afraid. Granada said that her dog was already in flamenco classes. The dog has been asked to stay next to the door for no one will step on her. From time to time there was a need to take her back to the door, but she was really quite and so much easier with it from my dog.
After stretching - the girl who was the closest to the fan asked if someone wants to change places with her cause she doesn't like the wind. As someone who always freak out from heat - I changed with her. Ok, what do we want now? Some said that the legs' warming she always do. No one had something to say against. Because I came sick - it took me a little while till I could make something without to make mistakes. Near the end I bit lost it again. In the middle a stranger stopped next to the door and wanted something. Adi let her in while we went on. After we finished with this part - a little brake. The stranger said she learned a bit flamenco before, but not much. She isn't in our level. Not yet anyway. She wants to go back to it. After some details from Adi - the stranger went away.
I came back last from the brake. Someone asked Adi to close the fan cause no one wants it. Hey, I'm cool with it! I took my place next to the fan. The girl who gave me the place was in my side. The fan still worked. We made a practice on the basic circles. And once again. And one of the basic which not many teach. In the start we all made the almost circles. And after - because we were 7 in a small place with a dog - two groups for the real thing. I was in the first group with Granada, the girl who gave me her place and another one. Granada who said before that she used to learn other kinds of dancing before flamenco can't control her body and balance. She was the worst between us. Once she almost fell and got stuck in me. She said she's sorry, but again and again she took too many steps, changed places and took mine while pretty get into me. I was in the corner with the fan without a way to move, no matter we were only four girls who made it. Adi asked me to go one and not to stop. I told her that getting into me. How come? We're only four - I need to go on. I can't! Granada said again and again that she's sorry, but it didn't help. She still got into me in every chance. Each of the groups received two chances, in both Granada didn't let me to move cause she can't hold herself.
Fine, now a new thing or "to clean" the siguiryia? We wanted the siguiryia. We made a lot of practice. The girl who gave me her place near the fan stopped for few minuted to take a video. I know her anyway and I thought of asking her to send me a copy for a memory. Last class I didn't make any video although we had some new stuff. A moment before we moved on to dance all the siguiryia we have been asked to take it in two groups for we'll be able to take videos. I didn't want to take a chance. I let others to be in the first group who dance and I took a video. Accept the steps - the dog made a little walk between them. I also have a dog in the video of the siguiryia. I think it's pretty funny, but disturbing to look at the dancers (they have something cute next to them). I was in the second group. With Granada again. At least this time she didn't try to get into me too many times. Probably cause this time it was with a video.
Some fellows came. After us meant to be a workshop of cajon.It has no connection to Adi, it has a connection to the studio. Before they got in - we all danced once again. After they got in - I went to change. When I almost finished someone really wanted to get into the loo with me, no matter that I said that I'm about to go out. And it's impossible to lock there, so...
I didn't go right away. I had a long goodbye from Adi. Even that I don't know her personally for a long time - it was a bit hard for me. I really enjoyed from this being of her here. In the little time she was here - I feel that I learned a lot from her, includes some things which are hard to find someone else to teach. And she really seem like a sweet person. We even hugged as friends a moment before I went. And that wasn't enough to keep me inside the studio - one of the girls I know through Facebook came to the workshop of the cajon. I needed to talk with her. Yeah, the world could role on over as usual even without my talk with Facebook girl, but in her case I know her enough times and met her enough times for I would feel that I really wanna talk with her.
Well, till next time that Adi comes back - I have few other things to fill my time with flamenco
