Well... Not all good things stay for long. Last year Neta went out with a show which fit for (mostly) kids. It was a play/dance show based on the tale The Little Marmaid. It started as a play with flamenco dances. The story movied to Cadíz and in the end - the marmaid needed to dance flamenco to tell the prince who saved him. In this version - the marmaid isn't little, she's Spanish. The idea and most of the things around were great, but few things weren't perfect. She was great. She took Ilan for dancing the prince and he was great as well. She had two more dancers. One was ok, the other one I still can't understand what she did there. The one who I don't undersatnd made a big mistake with the set which almost burned my eyes when I saw it. After that - I heard about another mistake she made with a flashlight on the stage (took it out from the stage with the bata de cola and it made some ruis for the set which was still behind). I didn't noticed it at time - but it was in the same performance. She stayed, but the other dancer got pregnant not much after and has been replaced in a better dancer - Einat.
Although it wasn't perfect - I thought it had it charm. Neta never had it before - first time in her life that it was hard for her to make enough people to come and make it for another big success. In the critisicm didn't know what to do with it: they said that she's great as always, but it isn't enough troditional and not all dancers are good as much as her.
It went down pretty fast, mostly when we talk about Neta. I'm trully sorry for her because I know how much she worked on it, I liked most of it (only the one dancer who I don't get disturbed me) and I really love her - as a flamenco artist, as a teacher and a person
