Shuky will sing for us in the end of year show. Today was the only day he could come for a rehearsal with us before the day of the show. Because of problems of the last moment with the date - it changed for an earlier hour and meant to be shorter. For me it was more for the alegria and buleria because this is what I'll dance with live music in this show this year. As we've been told - the rehearsal for the alegria will come after the medium level class, each group will get 20 minutes. After that will come the buleria, but for that we didn't get how long would it take - accept till which hour do we have the studio.
I came in the hour which meant to be the middle of rehearsal of the medium level class. All girls were there accept the old women. Andreu was playing and one of the girls was dancing. The others sat down. One came with her 4 years old daughter. Another one was calling Neta... Neta and Shuky weren't there. I wondered if I suppose to change if they didn't come. I asked the girl who called Neta what's going with it. She told me that Neta is about to come. I went to change. The daughter of the snobbish came in as well for this part. I told her what happened. She was pretty shocked. In the way back to the studio - the old women came. I told the assistant (who's one of them) about it. She said that Neta is here, but Shuky... No wonder! And the traffic!
The kido was in there now. Neta asked the girls of the medium level class to do their garrotín. Thy did with the guitar only. Well, the old women didn't do much. They mostly made mistakes. The assistant a bit less, but... The one who came with her daughter was horrible too. And they made a practice on some parts. The bimbo came and I told her too what happened. Then Neta went out to call Shuky. When she got back she asked them to give us to practice too. We started our alegria. Because we were only three and I'm not used to it, first time for the evening, the rehearsal is not as it was meant to be, the garrotín girls are watching... I forgot few steps and made some mistakes. In the part which I hate with the legs we've been asked to stop. Shuky came. The old woman told me we're amazing. She moved to the kido - and you!! Oh, it's the shoes! Both old women started to be amazed by the flamenco shoes of the kido.
He didn't notice me in the start although he knows me. He was saying hello to others and get to the point. Neta told him few things about the show. The garrotín made their part once with Shuky. The old women still looked horrible. The one with the 4 years old girl made a try to be as horrible as they did. She made it horrible, but bit in their level. Ilan also came in this point. I was trying to talk with him but it was hard. The noise of dance, others who wanted to talk with him...
The alegria part. Neta asked us to come and listen to the way she tells Shuky about our part. Then we started. I still made some mistakes... I can't stand this alegria! I thought that the part of buleria will be the hardest for me and will kill me. No, it will come a little earlier with the alegria! After we made a round - I asked Ilan how terrible it was. He said it's alegria - it was beautiful. I said that I made some mistakes. He said that next time I won't. The bimbo said that now it's our turn (for the buleria). Neta asked Shuky if it wasn't clear enough. He said that now it was clear for him. Now it was clear! Still Neta asked us to do the alegria again. This time I made it better, but I still have some wars with the manton.
After that - the buleria class. We've been asked to be around to hear the next directions. I was the last to come. I had to have some water..... And we did our thing. Few times we stopped. Once or twice Shuky wasn't ready with our dance. Once all of us forgot the way out to the to the solos.
In the solos - The bimbo was the first to start. She made it amazing. After her was the snobbish. I wasn't sure if she made it perfect, but she was better than her ordinary. I've been asked to be the third. Oh my... It's my doom! I was afraid as I was meant to be. I started. I thought I can do the part of the "calling" to the singer. I made it and nothing happened. I found out myself stand and wonder. I didn't move. I wondered how big was my mistake. Did I miss the entrance to this part? Did I make it wrong? After a moment which looked to me like forever I heard Shuky behind say "Oh, sorry". He started to sing. The rest I made as I wanted and it felt correct. Still it was bothering me what did I do wrong earlier. In the way out I was looking to see that he's ready for it. I noticed a half smile and went out. The assistant was after me. For her level - it wasn't too bad, but she still wasn't too good. Her friend was trilled. Ilan was the last. Well, I would love if I could do my part so easy... And we did our end with Neta. We had to do it few times cause Shuky wasn't ready for what is about to come. Neta said that all of us were amazing. We all made it "smooth" and were ready for what's about to come. It was the first time with a singer, a real singer and we made it naturally.
We still had few minutes for having the studio. Neta was wondering loud which part should be again. She thought that maybe we'll do the solos part again. Ilan said that we should do the part of all of us for it will be easier for Shuky. Shuky said that he rather have this part cause it could help him better. This way it will be easier for him to remember our order of steps.
Ilan was meant to work with Shuky about his own solo which has noting with us - accept it will be a part of the same show. I went to change fast for I could see it. They didn't work on it yet in the end. Not only the time - also Ilan wasn't ready to the end, Shuky didn't remember all....
