That's getting too weird. Once again getting in the last moment. The girl from Haifa was in a middle of a practice outside with the "ballerina". One of the daughters of Neta got out from the studio. I wasn't sure if she already recognize me or not. She does and she said hello. The fat woman still don't know how to use her hat, but she does know to use their phone. When the medium level class was over - she started to talk on the phone before she got out the studio.
Meanwhile - my friend and the nice one came. My friend said she isn't sure if she will make a part in the end of year show. She will be in end of July in the USA and she's afraid she won't be ready enough. Neta said that soon we will start to make the standings and we'll see how to make rehearsals in a way my friend will be ready. I asked if we already have a date. Neta and my friend said that "sure we have". How come that I'm the last one to know those things? It was for getting Shuky for sure. It will take a part at Suzanne Dellal this year for the second time, and they gave two dates as options.
Our class has started and I still didn't finish to inform my friend about one of the workshops - the one that I know she wants (of Maria Juncal). We've been asked to keep on silence.
A short hands' warming and a long legs' warming. I came sleepy again, but this time I forgot it fast. And a practice on some of the legs parts in our alegria. Some I forgot in the start, but after a short reminding - I started to enjoy. Some of the hardest steps for me in those parts become easier for me.
And dancing all we have. Twice. Few things still need some work with the manton. And no much space.... Clearly the end of year is in the air..... It's the only reason for I won't have any space to move. In the end of second time Neta said something about a manton in the back. The mantons of the kido and the daughter of the snobbish woman got stuck together. They both laughed (mostly the kido) and each one of them pulled her own manton to her side. Neta said that we didn't see it happen, but it was pretty early and she saw them pull their mantons and we keep on dancing. None of up could help it and laugh too. The comedy of the evening.
And learning some new steps for our alegria. The "ballerina" feel the end as well. She just heard "new steps" and the fact we're getting ready to the end - she got out from nowhere too be too much near me like I have to sit in the side and watch her "beauty". I don't accept to move for her. She accepted to move her hands a bit after I did move mine to where it had to. One thing Neta fixed me (a rare thing in those classes). The "ballerina" had to take a stand like Neta talks to her and I'm not there.
Few more steps. Neta showed us, so the "ballerina" had to be between me and Neta. I couldn't see anything from the new steps cause the "ballerina" thought that it's more important I'lss see her move from one point to another. I stood next to her for I would be able to see Neta and the new steps instead. The "ballerina" wasn't pleased. I don't give a damn. I'm there to learn and I want to be ready for end of year, so I don't give a damn if the "ballerina" likes it or not.
Not much after while a practice - the "ballerina" finally figured out that I'm not gonna guve up my space and I'll dance the best that I can on it, and if she's there - she's the one who have to be careful. So she found another spot which looked a little more empty from people. After a while of practice the new steps - Neta made a video of us.
End of class. Few more talks about the workshop. And I told my friend about what's gonna be in Días de Flamenco this year and when it's gonna be. About those things - I usually know before her. Any case - My friend asked Neta if she knows the real flamencos there. She said that she knows Juan de Juan and started to think. They both agreed that it looks like David Broza will be there mostly for catching a new audience that don't come to see flamenco much or at all. I didn't think about it before they said it and they probably right. But if it's true... I don't mind. Whatever pulls people to get to know flamenco.... By this time my friend made it clear that normally she does like David Broza, but she doesn't think he's the best choice for a thing like this
