It was this morning. Didn't sleep enough at night. Again - everyone in the street, this time next to a coffee shop near the studio. I was happy at the start - not the Granada girl, not the one who I know through Neta's studio or the grown up woman were there. Adi came at the last moment and opened the door. Granada came too. The lights there didn't open at the start. Adi went to buy herself a little thing to eat. Few girls made a try to practice. When Adi came back she said it's impossible - we're 8 girls, someone have to remember the guajira. We took some videos, didn't we look at the videos? So, everyone were too tired for watching the videos.
Still - Adi said that this time we will work only on "cleaning" the guajira. We worked hard on it. Not only a workshop of dance and technique at her level - we also have the fans. Last day, so just working on making it more clear to us.
We started stretching. For my happiness - at least Granada was at the other side of the studio. I was near one of the girls who I know through Mijal's studio - the one who mostly look at the studio of Mijal and broke her new fan after 10 minutes. Through stretching some told where are they gonna celebrate the holiday (or at least the special meal for the holiday).
We moved to legs' warming. At least this time I could drink normally before. Although I'm better at evenings/nights than at the mornings - this time I made it better than yesterday. The biggest problem was that I couldn't really go faster when we needed, mostly near the end. I made it till one speed, near the end all looked like a slow motion with my legs. I was tired and sweaty. The girl from Mijal's studio made many brakes for water. She moved few times too close to my legs, a thing which didn't make it any easier on me. Near the end of warming she gave up. She sat down and started to eat cranberries. When we all finished - Adi said that she less gave up for us at this part and we made it. The looking girl started to give from her cranberries for whoever wanted. She offered me too (and I took).
Adi asked if we rather work on circles or start the guajira. Idit said that we would do the circles. Once again she said it's because we can't miss this teacher. Adi said that we should start the guajira cause Idit is the only one who wants the circles. We went on compromise - we worked on circles, but only the basic ones and we finished it. Adi said that we all got better and do it better.
I took off the hairpins cause I started to make a war with one of them which didn't want to be at the right way. We took our fans. The looking girl brought another fan instead the broken one. A really pretty one coloured in lavender. She's a nice girl, but I wondered if she worth this fan and won't brake it.
We still learned few new steps. After that - we started to practice certain parts of the guajira. It took a little more time, but the lavender fan broke too. The looking girl said that she destroy fans in this workshop like on a regular base (like no one noticed). She took out the broken edge of it and went on like nothing happened.
We moved to dance the guajira over and over again. At the first time I was a bit confused and made few turns at the wrong way. It got better with time although I'm not sure that I did it perfect. The way we stood together was dynamic and changed many times in small changes. I still needed to notice how to keep my myself without getting into things in this small studio with all the girls who do it so big. After few times of dancing the guajira - the was one time that the looking girl pushed her elbow into my new fan. We both stopped to look if my fan is still alive and all stopped after us. The only thing I could think of was "B***h! She broke two fans of hers and now she try to brake mine?". There was a sign for a trauma, but she missed to brake my fan (she's lucky). Adi asked if mine broke too. The looking girl said it isn't broken, but we had an accident. She sent me to be in the front of her. We finished this round and made it once or twice again.
Adi said that all of us dance once again all the guajira, after that we'll do it in groups. Whoever will be in the group who doesn't dance will be able to take a video. The studio owner came and asked how long do we still need the studio. We danced once again, but instead of dancing in groups - Adi said that she will dance, whoever wants a video - this is the time. Whoever doesn't need a video should come and dance with her. All wanted a video. Idit still took one of the girls to take a video for her while she will dance with Adi. The dragon girl thought that the best place to take the video is from the place that I stand, so because Adi still didn't start yet - I didn't fight and changed a place instead. the problem was that the dragon tattoo girl moved with me and took some time till I found a space without her. It didn't help much. The dragon tattoo girl couldn't stand at one place and even in the middle of guajira she had to hide for me. She got into my video for a moment.
For the end - Adi opened a plastic bad of chocolate candies and asked us to take as much as possible cause she has no attention to take it with her, so we have to finish it. That was a sweet way to finish the workshop and start a new year
