The course of Maria Juncal - second evening
I was the first of my level to get there. I knew by the time (too early). I stood there in the street for I won't be the first to get in and looked a bit what can I see from the street level to the studio through those little windows. Not much. One of the girls came, said hello and got inside the building. Ok, so I won't be alone to get in. She stopped in the entrance hall. We talked while she changed there. She do therapy by theater and she say she's an actress(not anyone that I heard of). Later on came one more girl she knows. While they were talking between them I got some bravery to go down to the studio - first and alone. The door was already open. Some were dancing so close to the wall and one of them near the door. I was looking a bit. In their first brake since - I got in. The little hall for changing was clear from people. In the way I found out that one of the girls in the advanced is someone I know from the studio of Neta and was in her company. I haven't seen her for years. I closed the curtain and changed. Few more got there - include my friend and more friend of hers. Even that I got so early - my preparing got to the edge by time. Still - there was a bit of time to say hello to the girl I haven't seen for years and talk with Ilan who was in the advanced. My friend tried to remember few steps from yesterday. I couldn't help her much cause those I remembered fuzzy myself and her other friend remembered less. We started warming. This time - the door was open from the start, even from the the time of the other class - a thing which was very useful. Still - one girl took two classes - the advances and the one I took. Between classes she got out. In her way back after warming has started - she closed the door behind her. It was possible to feel the hit very fast. One more person got in and closed the door. I was glad it got opened again (air!!!). We worked again on steps from yesterday. It still can confuse from time to time. Maria noticed every little mistake that every girl made and I saw she's looking at me as well. I thought that she's about to fix me, but she did it to others. And one more thing that disturbed me was the fact that this time it was harder for me to find a place which I don't get my hands into the mirror that was on the side-wall. Water brake and taking the fans. When we hardly started with it - Maria cached me not ready. That was the time to fix me - my back wasn't straight enough. And I thought that I stand straight... Just a bit more. Professional dancers can catch on this very ease. Pretty scary. The fan of my friend got broken not much after. She talked with her other friend. They got into the change hall and got back with a tiny fan for my friend. She did complain a bit more. I offered her one of mine. When it was possible - I went to bring her. I have one big and two medium fans. I gave her one of the medium (I used the big one - fit me with size and colors of the skirt). After a while - the woman who brought Maria offered my friend to take one of the fans that Maria brought. She didn't like the colors which left, but she took one. And learning some new steps for the guajira. After we got it - do all from the start with the steps from yesterday. The steps from yesterday we all did screech, so we made a bit of practice with Maria. And dance again. And again. And again. My fan got stuck few times in the mirror, at a TV that was there, in a flash-light... And the time was over. In the end of class today I told Maria that I think that it's a real fun. I asked her if it's fine to have a photo with her. She accepted. I took my camera and waited till she will have time (a conversation has started). After that in the street I got into another conversation. Ilan was still around, my friend, her friend and the girl who I haven't seen for year (and stayed for another class) were talking. Hey, I'm here and I take a part. And I have some things to say. After all - how was the class of Maria and what's going on in the studio of Neta... Ilan and me were last ones. Well - tomorrow because of a Jewish holiday that doesn't over the class I take will be at noon, right after advanced (they will have at the morning)
