<Performance short>
Flamenco has the power to transmit positive energy to all people, transmitting any feathers such as professional, ama, gender, age and nationality. In order to bring this "flamenco chikara" to everyone in Japan, we will lead three generations of flamenco artists representing Japan, starting from December of this year to January of next year, we will hold our first ever national performance tour in six locations across the country (Sendai, Saitama, Toyama, Kagoshima, Osaka, Chiba).
For this choreography performance, we welcome Yoshimoto Yoshimoto, who works in flamenco choreography performances such as Kabukicho, Takarazawa, and Shinkihiro Yoshimoto. As a work with unprecedented scale and diversity in Japanese flamenco history, he will be performed in various places along with "local pieces" that exchange flamenco artists from all over the country.
Suffering and sadness that no one can escape from when they are alive, and yet the joy that is felt because they are alive, the emotions of joy that arise from such tears, in flamenco that expresses through singing and dancing, there is a "chikara" that brings a strong catharsis (purification of the spirit) and happiness to those who watch it, and of course to those who perform. After finishing the flamenco stage, it is our wish to feel "Oh, I'm glad to be alive" "It's wonderful to be alive" and "To be alive is wonderful," and to inspire that appreciation, we will increase more people throughout Japan who love and practice flamenco.
