Shoes (I need it)

I took care for others with it although I make the buying. Recently I know that one of the Facebook girls (NOT Shiran, the other one) do from time to time invitations of flamenco shoes through the internet. She do it in groups for discount. Last week Mijal asked one of the girls by class if her shoes are worn. The girl said that it might. In the end of class I checked mine too. I think that the bottom start to be worn at mine too. And anyway - it start to be sad to see others' special shoes. Although my Menkes are, but too simple and I know that are other firms which count even more professional. Any case - if you only start to dance I recommend Menkes. It is the best before you know if you want to do it for years or even professional. For professionals there are two other options: Gallardo or Senovilla.

I asked the Facebook girl for me now. She made an invitation recently. She doesn't sure if will be another one soon, but in case will be - it will be at October. Fine, close to my birthday, I could ask it from my family to my birthday! I thought maybe she mean to the site of Flamenco World. So not. She do it through the site of Gallardo. I looked at their site and... I have three couples of shoes that I want now and need to choose. Which do you think is the most beautiful?

Starting the alegria with shawls

That was deadly. I was walking to the studio. Not many in the medium level class. The assistant wasn't there (which was cool). The guitar player was there. I went out to change. A new bimbo. I thought that she's a new one in the studio, so I said "hi", but... Probably not. She came into the studio a bit after me. I guess that... The daughter was there, the other kido got in a moment before class. My friend came as well. Between classes I asked the guitar player where did he meet a friend of mine. I told him last week about a fried of mine who's a singer but she isn't in flamenco. Few things - he wanted to know her. I connected between them - and yesterday I saw a photo of both of them in facebook. He told me they met for music, he played and she sang. It isn't close yet, but it probably will take them to a professional thing between them. He said that she also may come to the studio few times. Class has started. No air conditioner, a tough warming and I'm after a walking. The fat woman (oh dear...!) and the nice one came in late. I started to sweat. It was really hard, still a bit rusty from summer, a lot of hit and a lot of energy... I thought I'm the only one can't handle it after all wars I had in past year about the air conditioner, but no. Half of girls started to sweat as I am. Both air conditioners got open. I found myself try to get the breeze as much as possible - every little brake stopped for water or standing where it's the coolest area. In the start - I was the only one who got fixed. Once Neta looked at me weird like can't understand what's going on. It just confused me more. Later on - at least the fixings moved to others. Getting out the shawls. The kido didn't have any cause she don't have yet and didn't know where to get one. Nor did the bimbo. First class... I think that the fat one didn't have. I didn't even notice, accept once that she made a movement like she save her face from the shawl of my friend (while she didn't hold any herself). A strange girl looked at us from outside while we started to practice our new alegria. It wasn't till end. The kido got Neta's shawl to practice. Near the end - Neta took a video and did it mostly on the kido although the kido said she doesn't like it. In the last moments - Neta said that she thought of something and she wanna see how does it work. Just made me feel rusty again cause after I made it well with the shawl after all the time I didn't use it - I couldn't do what she did. The kido took a video of Neta. I think that I should take care for a bigger shawl. I wish I had enough money for some shawls that I saw in the site of Flamenco World... Neta brought again the clothes that she design. The nice one bought a new skirt. She asked me to hide her from the guitar player when she change again and moved off her new skirt. She asked me (again) where did I get my skirt. When she saw mine in the first time she asked me if Neta has something like this as well. No. Now she asked me if I bought it from Neta. I couldn't buy it from Neta cause Neta don't sell skirts of Raquelita... They both have some beautiful stuff, but each for her own. While I was almost in the way out - Neta already called to the bimbo "gitana" (gipsy). For the big surprise - I wasn't the last one in the studio this time

Shawls

In the site flamenco world there is a big on-line store for flamenco. It includes dancing clothes and all over. Between the things they offer there are some beautiful hand-made shawls. They have now a new collection of shawls. I saw two which i would love to have, but... It will deffently will make my fantasy trip to Sevillia much further...  I wish I had enough money to buy those two shawls without quilty feelings

I deffently love the site flamenco world... Here are more photos of Farruquito from the show Baile Flamenco. The photos has been published before in flamenco world

And if we're talking about shoes....

I would be glad for having those flamenco shoes. I found it out in the site flamenco world. Still - although I know this site is good - I prefer to know how does it feel on me when it's shoes....

Farruquito back to stage

Well, more detales about the new show of Farruquito. I add here the article from the site Flamenco World:

Farruquito returns to stages. And he does so with the premiere of ‘Baile flamenco’ on September 15th, 16th and 17th, 2011 at the Teatro Compac Gran Vía in Madrid. After performing in the Spanish capital, the bailaor will continue with a world tour which will take him to India, Japan, China, the United States, France and Holland, as well as all over Spain. In his new show, the artist weighs up his artistic career so far. The repertoire consists of six pieces which summarize all of his company’s shows. From ‘Raíces flamencas’ (1997), the first of his solo shows, he pulls out ‘Fandangos de su majestad’. ‘La len varó’ (2001) leads him to recall his father El Moreno por soleá. The farruca was the find of ‘Alma vieja’ (2003). Then, “the company’s four bailaores dance a seguirilla reflecting the time that I spent without dancing” which is entitled ‘Tiempo al Tiempo’. He recalls ‘Farruquito y familia’ (2005) - which was released on DVD - with bulerías and ‘Puro’ (2008) with a zapateado. Nor did he want to leave behind ‘Sonerías’, premiered at Seville’s 2010 Bienal de Flamenco, where he introduced “my latest audacity: four sevillanas (from Cuba and from Seville)”. As the artist explains, in ‘Baile Flamenco’ “I’ve embraced some of the many memories which made me learn, enjoy, suffer and mature artistically and musically”.
