This evening has started Días de Flamenco 2025. Still without anyone from Spain. Covid19, war... A local version. This time I came only to the first evening, if it will be more - it will be a thisg of last moment. I came early. Just to watch. After too long - coming to one of my favorite spots at Tel Aviv - Suzanne Dellal.
I met some people that I know. I hugged with some, said "hello" to some others. I was amazed that I don't know many of the people who came. The flamenco in Israel is a community, so... Well, there we two outdoors short shows, free for all. The first was of Inbal Cohen. I came just in time to see it. It was cool. Still it was a bit difficult. Although it was outdoors and in a big place - looks like all had to be too close to me. And there were few photographers in the crowd, looked like I was the only photographer without a camera. I was a bit jealous. OK, really jealous. I still took few photos with the phone:

After that I went to another space there. I needed some air. I was waiting to the main show of the evening. It was a show of mix beween The Andaluce Orchestra of Ashdod with the dancer Yarden Amir. I was lucky to get a good seat there, the show became sold out abit before the date.

So, the dancer was Yarden Amir. Two guitar players: Ofer Ronen who also wrote the music, and Fyty Carillo. Two singers: Yael Horwitz who sang flamenco and Rima Kablan who sang in Arabic. It was a lot of music. A lot of mix between flamenco and Arabic music. The dancing was also a bit mix of it - flamenco, but not a regular style. There was no pure palo. Yarden had few outfits. The first and last dresses were pure flamenco dresses. The first dress was purple dress from the poster. The second dress was flamenco red, but gets some rounds that reminds me a baloon. And it was with a manton. Third time of Yarden on stage - she was wearing pants and something between a shirt and a mantle. A green outfit tht remind me of Aladin. And it wasn't a farruca... One more outfit for a short dance. Yarden got back for the finale with an orange flamenco dress and an orange manton.
Yarden is an amazing performer. I also knew before Yael and Fyty and love them as musicans. I didn't Rima before, but looks like that I should. The thing itself was very different from anything I saw before. It was very interesting to see it
