From stress of coming on time and the fact I still needed to pay - I came really early. Accept Shuky, Adva and Idit - the only person who came before me was Natasha (yep, the photographer). For a while I was busy talking with the girls and after that also with Shuky. Some information, not all I could renew to them. = Only two guitar players came this time, one of the fellows who always come brought his little daughter with him. The other one came only once or twice before to those workshops. This time he came with his wife. From dancers - after me came someone who knows Idit but it was her first time she came to this. First time I ever saw her. Also the bimbo I know through Neta's studio. She was nicer than last time and made a try to talk... After one of the Facebook girls came - I started talking with her and sat next to her aster one more moment. The other one was late but needed to come. To her and to the bimbo I could renew the information about what's going on at February with Hugo at the studio of Neta. I was telling by the way that I will join for a month to the men's class instead of one of classes that I take when Hugo will teach. The bimbo was a bit shocked that I'm a woman who's about to join the men's class. I was telling her it start to be possible and I asked permission from Mijal to do so. I thought she will have something to say how wrong it is and laugh. She said nothing more and just looked like she try to figure out what she heard.
The workshop has started with information about solea which was given by Idit. It was hard for all of us to listen because of sweetness of the little kid who was sitting there on her father's feet. I still made my try. Amazing how it become easier to concentrate when others get disturb no less and the eyes almost burn from non sleeping. From time to time it stopped cause of sweetness. The second Facebook girl came after the information started. Shuky took out his guitar. Idit said it made for we all will notice his new guitar. No problem with me. After a while I got disturb too because of being tired and few moments i couldn't listen. Shuky let us hear the difference between solea de Alcala and sole de... I think it was Triana (but I wasn't concentrate enough for saying for sure). We were working on the Alcala later on.
Videos - Idit apologized that till now they didn't let us see any video of Antonio Mairena at those workshops. So now we saw some. Fine, I know that he was important and I do respect him for what he have done, but still not sure how much I love him. At the video I notice that he made palmas like left handed. After that = La Macanita. I knew her name from before but I'm not sure if I could connect anything to her. The little part of the video we saw of hers was amazing to my eyes and ears. It includes nothing special accept the music and needed nothing more accept the music, at least I see it this way. For the end we saw a part of video of dancing. For that we saw La Tati. It had it moments but I still need to take my time...
We worked on palmas of solea and sinning a letra of solea. The sweet baby fell and started to cry. Seem like she was more afraid of the fallling than it was painful. Her father took her out and couldn't get back inside. I think he called someone to pick her up cause after brake he got back without her.
And a brake.
The guitar players went with Shuky. We stayed with Adva. We worked on steps which at the start looks difficult but after a long practice it's possible to do. The wife stayed with us, stood at the back, said that she do only pantomime, after a short while she gave up and sat down just looking at us. Adva said that she forgot (or something like that) the steps she wanted to teach us so she makes some new ones. So few she changed by this time after one moment and we worked on something else. She stopped to ask me if I'm fine, after that she asked Natasha as well. After some practice I noticed how much the wife look at us. Maybe it's only in my head but I think she was looking mostly at me.
The guitar players got back. We danced to them few times. This time without too many games, just dance on the same base. Then each alone, again without not many games - just try to do it alone. The bimbo was first. Even she didn't do it perfect and looked disappointed. I was second. Adva asked me if I want to do it alone or with her. Somehow I felt like I can also alone. I guess it was a mix of of solea which I know and love, it was easier than the normal to remember the steps Adva was teaching and the fact I'm getting used (for good) to those fellows and those workshops. I said that this time I don't mind. Adva let me try alone. I was stress mostly from my bravery. She fixed me by dancing, first time she asked me to breath (I didn't notice that I stopped with it) and once she asked me to slow down. After a while she remind me few things. I didn't mind cause I wasn't sure if I'm not in the middle of blackout. Still after I finished Adva signed me that I made it well. I'm not and probably it's better I won't know if it was because I was brave or danced well. Or both. The other girls made also mistakes. Adva and Shuky started to say like a mantra that solea is difficult. Eithan Bartal came with his dog. This is a cause which makes my head wonder more than others. He's been asked why did he come so late. Adva demanded he will play to us and we'll dance for the last time with his playing. We danced twice with him and the others. The wife said we dance wonderful, all of us.
