Again I came after not enough sleeping. It was still the end of the class before. The storm and rains has finished, but it still very cold outside. Inside all were dressed warm, even the girls who were dancing. Girls from my class were sitting at the balcony and looked down while wearing sweaters. Already a surreal start.
Between classes Mijal still was talking with the girls of other class. When she got a bit time - I asked her to take a video at the end. More correct - I remind her that I asked to take a video of all dance when we finish it (and I've been told it will be this evening). And about the upcoming show... The dragon tattoo girl asked me how am I doing and went to talk with others. After a while - the friend of the happy one asked me the same. After a moment she asked if I want to drink from the water she brought or do I have some water of my own. I told her that I have. It was nice... I didn't even know she care about me. After that she asked others too. Only one was pleased to take.
Before class has started - Mijal asked if anyone of us needs a couple of new shoes for dancing. She brought her daughter in a wrong size, so instead of bring it back to the store... Fine, legs' warming because it's really cold. Many times Mijal asked all of us to lift our legs up. It took me some time till I was able to move as I wanted because it was so cold.
And the drills. The technique went well, so did the first real dancing part. At the second part we needed to fix it and do it over and over again till it went well. Third part.... Do it again and again. We started to work on a part that Ayelet started to teach last week and we moved on with more steps. Ilan came. looked from the balcony and changed. We worked a lot on the new steps. Ilan went out out with a scarf for a practice. On the last step I thought for a moment that I'm the only one that think so, but one of the girls said "Jesus Christ". Another one told about a show of Rafael Amargo (a show that from a weird reason I didn't see). She said that he got into stage with hands like this. I couldn't understand if naked or just shirt off, I thought she mean "shirt off" but the conversation went on to dancing nude. Mijal said that the weirdest nude she saw in dancing was at a show of Bat Sheva Dance Company. It was at the celebrating of 20 years for Suzanne Dellal. For the show came respectable people, some are religious and this is what they showed. At one part the women dancers showed the audience their pubic, a moment after the men dancers went weird naked while their ...... between their legs. Mijal didn't know that Ilan was out. She called him and said as a joke that the farruca of men's class will be this way. Between the legs....
We got again three groups, but this time for the new steps. Some all the girls danced together, some just one group. I was at the group which started it.
And dancing all the siguiryia. Again - I made some little mistakes, but nothing special or dramatic. Felt really good. Near the end I noticed that some girls stopped dancing. Didn't take too long till I left to dance alone. I made a little part and stopped as well. We worked a lot on the end. At one part Mijal looked at me and said that I do well. After a while Mijal asked me if I wanted to take a video of all the siguiryia till the very end, I said that I do. She said that this time there is nothing to film, we'll finish it next week. Some more work. Ilan got back and was sitting at the studio, still dressed warm.
After class Mijal asked again to tell her if it's fine we'll go on with escuela bolera after we'll finish the siguiryia. Only "our dear Orna" answered about it. So, it's like flamenco but not really. We should learn something else to improve our bases and see that there are some more things accept flamenco. One of the girls asked if there is anything else accept flamenco. At the end she said the last wors - Mondays will soon will be half escuela bolera and half pure flamenco when the siguiryia will finish
