One more workshop by Shuky, Adva and Idit. It has started yesterday and will go on tomorrow, but I could come only today. Every evening at this workshop this time is a different kind of buleria. Yesterday I missed buleria de Jerez, tomorrow I will miss buleria de Utrera. I came to the evening they made it around buleria de Cadiz.
I came early. When I saw Adva and Idit prepare the place, the old woman who I see at workshops from time to time is already sitting there, and I come recently at the last moment for places - I thought in the start that I came too late. I was talking with the girls for a moment signed a place for myself and went to pay. I needed a change from the money I brought and it made a little drama. There was a new guy as a secretary and where he needed to bring the change wasn't around him. It took me some time till I made to bring a smaller money for he won't need to give me a change.
Shuky arrived. Few more came, includes the girls I know through Facebook. Also came one who's a teacher. I guess that at the north there are no great teachers for flamenco. I knew one teacher from the north through the studio of Neta. If she's a teacher - I can be as well. That's another one from the north who I know mostly through the workshops of this trio. Once again - If she's a teacher.... And I really don't see myself as the best dancer.
Class has started. I received a piece of paper with information about the three kinds of buleria of the whole workshops. Letras of buleria as well. Yeah, it means also those at the days that I can't come. Those who came also came yesterday (I think that I'm a bit jealous) took out their papers. All received also papers with giving information about where, how long and what did each learn. I saw that all started to write, I wrote myself. I'm not sure if it means that it means that I will go for the full learning next year, even it sounds to me interesting. Idit started to tell about buleria de Cadiz. It took me some time till I gave the full attention to what she said just because of this piece of paper. Someone else (a new one who I never saw before) asked for my pen when I finished. She filled her piece of paper faster. Probably because she had less to write about her study.
After this I could listen. It was interesting for me. A bit about buleria and a lot about Cadiz. Shuky let us hear the difference between buleria de Cadiz (like today) and buleria de Jerez which was when I was gone. After that - the videos. There was a video of Miguel Poveda. They told us that we need to know that he's from Barcelona, but his source is in Andalucia. The video they showed us was of him sings buleria de Cadiz. That video wasn't the best for watching, but it had a great sound. I loved listening to it. And there was another video, but I already forgot what it was....

We started to work in two groups. Shuky and Idit went to another room with the guitar players. Adva worked with us on steps. It took me some time to get what happen although I already know the system. Adva was talking about steps that she doesn't want to work on because it was yesterday. I made it in the end. There was one thing which was new also to those who were yesterday. I started to think of Ilan and not only because he's my friend. It started like a part of the buleria that he made in the show this Friday. I saw him doing it many times before.
There was a moment that Adva said to one of the Facebook girls that she doesn't want to blame her, but she thinks that she's too hurry.
The guitar players got back. We made one more practice. Then we made it together. All girls together. Adva made a try we'll all stay away from the wall. I couldn't cause I was at the second row and those at the first were afraid to stay away from the wall. Too scary to stay near the guitar players. We changed rows and it hot better.
And solos. The Facebook girls made it pretty well. The "teacher" made a mistake and even for me it was easier than to her to know what was the problem. Even after Adva told her what it was - it looked like she doesn't really understand. Two new ones has been asked to do it with Adva. By the way she asked me if I wanna do it alone or with her. As far as others has been there yesterday - I felt needed for her help. I asked to do it with her. The new ones made both with her, the old woman made something by this time. I made it after it with Adva. At the salida I had a blackout and I forgot how did Adva was teaching. I made it as I did at the classes of Neta and at the show. Just in the very end it was more like Adva was teaching, but my style. Adva apologized to me about one thing that Shuky did. She said it was wicked of him.
One more round. The Facebook girls made it again. The "teacher" made it better. Adva told me that this time I do it alone. One little blackout at the middle. I made a try to get in by a wrong moment. This time the salida was like Adva was teaching. Adva joined me. I received "ole" in the end. The old woman said that she would do only palmas. The new girls made it alone.
