The workshop of Marco Flores

Amazing. I'm really tired but had such a great experience. I felt how tired I am only when it was over. It's been a long time since I felt THAT focused. I didn't have a ride, I came out too late, too tired, too stressed and wonder how much energy would I need in the workshop. I took a taxi. Still, at the street of Suzanne Dellal thereis a part where they fix the road. A part of it I went by foot. I came on time. Not many people yet. When I came also came someone who I probably saw before but don't remember where and when. He came with his son, a kid who looks like a 10 years old boy. Both came to dance at the workshop. Idit was there talking with one of the teachers of Tel Aviv, someone who I knew so far mostly through stories and Facebook. Idit introduced between us. She was thrill to see me and I found out that it makes me happy too. Idit started to talk with me. One of the workers of Adi Foundation asked me who I am. At the fourth time... Doesn't she know me by now? Even when I told her my name and showed her that my name is at the top of list she looked confused. When I could go on talking with Idit she said that I probably know already that Miguel Angel is about to come at June. I said "No!!!". Idit does have sense of humour, but this time she didn't understand that I'm joking. I told her about the dates of workshops he will give. She was excited. She went to many workshops of him before and loved it. I told her about the shows. One she probably didn't see yet, the other one she said that she saw like me - twice before and don't have any problem to see again.

Not many came and I started to wonder what happened. It isn't typical. Marco came early. After two who were talking with him - I told him what I heard about the show (good things) and that I will come tonight. I asked him if I would be able to take a video in the end. He accepted. I went to talk a bit more with Idit. The door of studio got close and class has started on time. I missed a half of minute or so from the legs' warming. He made some basic things. but great for getting into it. Few things at the same idea but a bit different, made each for a long time and made it as a "chain". Two things like this. The ,ore complicated he asked us to do also without him. the 5th confused me a bit. Adi Akiva came in a little late when we were on the middle of it. After that -  a step which I had so far only at the studio of Mijal. I already know it, but it's still a bit difficult to me. He made it in little parts for make it clear. There was a photographer all this workshop. I still didn't find out where would I get the photos, but... The weirdest part was that in this difficult step I had only at the studio of Mijal so far - the photographer got a lot of focus on my leg. She got to the floor to see my legs from close. When did I become legs' model at flamenco? The studio got fill by this time in girls who came too late. Mijal came too, only after this step of warming. I didn't really notice when did she come.

We started a buleria. Again - working slowly and hard on each part. Each step he explained to the small details and asked us to show our best. He had some funny ways to correct us. Two minutes brake. I used it to drink a lot of water and a try to find out when did Mijal came. I was too busy at learning from Marco and enjoy it.

Go on. A lot of work on the dance he was teaching us. Few more steps, a lot of work on each one, humour at the way he was correcting us, he gave a lot of attention to the kid. One more brake. I went to use the loo (after two hours of workshop), the woman from Adi Foundation took him for a conversation, so I went to talk with Adi. I'm about to take a workshop of hers again and I wanted to know more details. More time. I noticed that Mijal in the floor. I was joking that I'll give her a pillow and a blanket. She said that she needs it.

Go on with the dance. Few more steps as an entrada. Work, work, work... It wasn't a long dance in the end, but in a high level and after hard work on it. Eva came. And he asked us to take it in two groups. One will dance, whoever wants a video at the other group can do it now. After that we'll replace it. Mijal and me took the group on the side at the first time. I took my video. After that dancing. People looked from outside as well. I notice that few looked at me like I amaze them. Am I really THAT good or is it only in my head? One more round like this - we switched again. Still it looked like the "first group" includes most of fellows who came. I used the time to tell Mijal about the photographer and my legs at her drill. She laughed and I can't blame her. It was funny. And we danced again.

We still had few more minutes. Both groups has been asked to stand in the front of each other instead of  in the front of the mirror. We've been asked to dance all of us together  while each group dance to the other one. That's was a great challenge and very confusing. We've been asked to do it twice. At the second time it was easier, but... Still not easy.

After that he accepted to have a photo with me...

Oh, by the way - I heard Marco tell Eva that all of us danced in a high level
