Once the workshop of Shuky/Adva/Idit wasn't on Thursday. It was this evening. This time the chosen palo was siguiryia which I love so much. Idit said hello from far when I came. She couldn't really talk with me cause she was talking with Shuky about which videos they will show us from the list. I went to pay. With Adva it was a hug for a start, but she was hurry to be ready on time. The Facebook girls came... I was talking with one of them. I signed for one day of the next workshop.
At the study room were sitting the bimbo and the new nice one. I sat next to them and few jokes has started. Idit was talking a bit with the old woman who came last time as well. I found myself go to talk with her over the same thing and go on. Got back to sit. Accept 4 of us - some guitar players came. Idit was glad to see we're sitting quiet and wait. But she didn't know the new nice one. The bimbo made a try to promote the new nice one. A moment after they said that it looks like I know everybody. They way they said it looked to me they pretty amazed from it and kinda wondered how did I do it. I could see it as a complement. A moment after I told them my methods - not too hard, workshops and Facebook (could I say it's also my charm?). I warned them from one of the guitar players who came this time (and last time as well) and I know he's kinda crazy. And the Facebook girls came. I told the bimbo and the new nice one that they both are ordinary in those workshops, accept last time. And I told them in which studio they learn. The crazy one looked at me and said hello. I ignored him and he moved on, sat in the over side of the room.
Adva said for publishing - will be some photos and so. Anyone has a problem to be a part? After a short silence I said that I will have a problem if I WON'T be in it. The new nice one and the bimbo said they noticed that I love those things. Well... I can't say they were wrong about it. So, one of the ways of saying in Hebrew about making photos is like saying making a video. Adva was using it. And this time - accept the photos that Idit was taking with her mobile phone - there was a man who came to take a video. Still I didn't have a problem. He remember that he saw me before... He asked me if I'm a student (in a way which in Hebrew can sound like in a college or university). I didn't know how to answer it because of the way he asked and the fact I didn't remember him. After a while the bimbo said that we're all students for flamenco. The video man found his place next to me.
The class has started. The video man lest his camera and took him a while to come back. The video was on, but I'm nit sure it meant to be this way. Idit was talking and told about siguiryia. Few things I did know before as someone who always try to learn and love this palo. Still she had some things to renew to me. I saw that the camera was only on her. Shuky had few things to say as well. The camera was still on Idit listening... The camera man came back. Later on when Shuky had something to say - the camera moved to him. The old woman had some questions and the camera moved to her. Anyhow, without my will it was hard for me to listen all the time. The bimbo and the new nice one hardly stopped talking between them (right to my ears), I hardly slept last night and didn't have much time to rest before, my ability to stay tuned doesn't work all the time without it anyway....
The videos thing... We watched parts from... A song of Manuel Agujets (a singer), Loli flores (a dancer), María del Mar Moreno (a dancer), Farruco while the singer is El Chocolate... I have a list with links for those videos and more. I guess that I will look for the full versions and give it here.
We started the making part. Shuky sang us and played for us a part of siguiryia. We started to work on the plamas with his sinning and playing. At some moment I noticed that camera is pointed at me... I looked a bit and smiled a bit. It was pretty weird such a camera pointed at me from THAT close. The camera man whispered "don't look at the camera! don't look at the camera!". Fine, I stopped looking, but it took a little longer till the smile stopped. Next times I made a try to look like I didn't notice that the camera is on me.
A brake. A running to the toilets. I was the first one, but it's in the other side of the road and the secretary was in the study room. One of the Facebook girls opened after the secretary shouted the code to the door. Back to the study room The other Facebook girl said that she see I'm ready with shoes. No, those shoes only look alike flamenco shoes. I changed it. In the end - this time I was the only one who lest with pants. Some came with skirts anyway, others changed to skirts. The video man got in although Adva asked NOT to get in this moment. She told him she's changing after he was inside. He had a weird comment for that which made at least half of to laugh.
Adva asked how much experience do we have with siguiryia. The Facebook girls had with Adi, one of them learned only in the workshop of Adi. I started to tell about the learning in the studio of Neta. What a drama! The Facebook girls didn't like this start cause they knew I was at the workshop of Adi. They thought this is the important thing. The bimbo and the new nice one thought that the siguiryia at the studio of Neta doesn't count. They both couldn't say they learned siguiryia more than this. Adva told few more things about siguiryia for we'll understand it better.
We started to work on some steps for siguiryia. Some of the steps were a bit confusing in the start. The new nice one got afraid of it. At one of the moments Adva said it's a cool step and we should see it. She invited it now. It was a cool step... The camera man moved between the rooms - some of the time he took videos of us working, some of the time he took videos of the guitar players who were in another room. Few moment of it: the camera was too close to the face of Adva and she asked the man to go down and take a video of her legs' work. One moment she asked each one of us to do one of the steps alone. At my case she said that I;ll do it with her. She was in the fron of me and was very close. I had to do it small for not stepping on her. There is a video of it, I still have no clue if it will stay in the final cuts. In another moment the camera man came back to us from the room with the guitar players. Someone asked Adva how to make the guitar players know that she's about to make a remate. The camera man said that a moment before one of the guitar players asked Shuky how can he know if a dancer wants to make a remate.
The guitar players came back. We started working together. This time - all of us together without solos. The new nice one didn't even dare to be in the front. There was a part that Adva all to make the steps in silence, moved between all girls to correct. At my case - she signed me that I'm doing well. In another moment I felt I have to make the hands movement a bit different. I looked to see if there any comment for it. I did took a bit the attention of Adva and Idit, but not much more.
After class - Adva said to the bimbo she's happy to see her there again and it's nice to know her. A moment after she whispered to me that I'm the best. I think I got blush... I still was waiting to talk with them a bit more.
