I did write about the coming back of Maria Juncal to Israel. She will give workshops in Tel Aviv - three "regular" levels and classes of bata de cola. At least this time it's in another studio than it was last year, but still in Tel Aviv.
As far as I can't pay now on two levels (too much spending on regular classes/shows/workshops/other) - so sadly I give up on the bata de cola classes. I still love bata de cola and I know that I use it pretty well (mostly when thinking of the fact I'm NOT a professional dancer). Still, too many traumas for me with the bata. If to go one level - I prefer something more "relaxed".
This year it will be at the studio of... I hope that I write her last name properly in English: Adi Davidovich. I never met her before and till I saw the flyer I didn't really know where she teach. Two days ago I was talking with her that I want to come to the workshop of Maria Juncal. Already when do I come to pay? I was talking that I'll come this evening.
I came a bit earlier. I was talking with her cause I wasn't sure. Her studio is in a building made for offices room and so - with a bank there. She told me that it's fine, just get into this building, she still in the way and will tell me when she will park her car.
Her studio is in the basement. The place itself is really sad from inside. I never needed to get inside and I was a bit shocked. I was waiting down there near the door to the studio itself.
Something like the hour I was meant to meet her there - came someone who said "Hi". I answered, and for a moment... Oh, it isn't her. It didn't disturb her to start talking with me like we're old friends. She thought I came to a class to see how is it in this studio. She was amazed (as a good thing) from the time that I dance. I told her I'm there for paying the workshop and it won't be the first time that I go to Maria. She learn only a year or so, but soon she will go to Spain with the studio.
Two more came (not together). The girl I was talking with till this moment said to the first one between them that she's angry with her because she won't come to Spain. The one who won't come said that she's afraid to fly. Yes, she did start therapy recently. No, she never took a flight in her life. A moment after she told what she see as frighting - the other one came. The first hugged the new one who joined, told her about the flight fear of the one who won't come to Spain, and.... She said to both of them that "this is Orna, she came to pay on the workshop. I just felt I have to tell you".
A lot of talks between them. The first one who was there said that she don't understand, Adi is always there in this hour.This girl... She seems like a sweet person but it's amazing how much patience she needs. She hardly stop talking. And she have something to say about everything. Till Adi came - I started to feel like a bit more and I freak out.
Adi apologized for my waiting. No worry, at least I had the chance to meet some of her girls. She made a try to be nice. I paid and now I'm officially listed. I took a run out. Now only to wait till the workshop will start (next month).
