South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center and Siempre Flamenco Present FlamenJazz Jam

Siempre Flamenco's guitarist Paco Fonta teams up with jazz vibraphonist Alfredo Chacon and Bassist Augustin Conti for an exciting journey of musical dialogue, exploring connections between the two musical genres. The heat and passion of flamenco and the cool licks of jazz both share improvisation as an important element in their musical traditions, thus the concept of a FlamennJazz Jam. The show will include Flamenco dancing by acclaimed dancers Celia Fonta and Paola Escobar.

Performances will take place in the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center’s intimate Black Box Theater on Friday, February 22 at 8:30pm, Saturday, February at 8:30 and 10:30pm, and Sunday, February 24 at 3:30pm.
