No alarms today in Tel Aviv. It was pretty quiet if we forget for a moment that Tel Aviv is full in Israelis (and we are a loud nation). Even there are talks of have an end tonight to this "little" war. When I came to the studio - most of fellows of the technique class were already there. And also Andreu, the guitar player. He was in Madrid for a while toll few days ago (back before he should for taking a part in shows around here). He brought some hats for the students of medium level on Sundays for their dance. I mean - not just hats, hats that fit flamenco. I asked him if he will be in both classes, but... Even he wasn't sure yet. I asked Ilan to notice something that I told him in a private way. At the studio - I was ready to my head get torn from the neck. The studio has now a closed group in facebook (and no, you are not invited). It started something like two weeks ago and meant only for us, all classes of this studio for we could share the videos we take at classes. I asked on Sunday once again if Neta is sure that she wants my videos at this group. She said that she does, but not all over facebook - only in the group. Of course! But after a "little" trauma from the summer... I wanted to be sure that she's certain with it. So I uploaded to the group. Her assistant liked even some videos that I uploaded from the classes that she don't take a part in. Oh, mostly from classes that she don't a part in. The first class of Tuesday - the technique (which she does take a part) was without the guitar. Andreu went out for a cup of coffee until we'll finish this class. Starts with hands' warming. And a bit of legs' warming. On one of steps we have been asked to do it more free with our bodies. It didn't take too long till one of the girls has been called a grandmother. She's usually really good, but sometimes she forget it and do some mistakes that don't fit. And those circles all around the studio.... We received a speech that we much do the palmas if we stand and look at others do it. Once I made it, but it was include some steps that we don't do everytime, and once again - I came tired. When I finish my round a bit dizzy - I took one moment to calm. It took seconds till Ilan said "palmas!". Yeah, it was for me. Hardly a moment... After that - Neta said something about me. I wasn't really with feet on the ground that moment, first I noticed she said that "you know? Orna....". It took a little while till I got it, she was talking about the videos that I uploaded to the group. Ilan said loud that it was me who made it. I'm not sure if it was a respond to the assistant who was near him, but I know for sure where it came from and it only shows that he cares about my interest. It had a connection to that thing I asked him to notice. Andreu came in and looked. The snobbish woman came as well. Neta asked me if I remember the steps we made as a start to our technique dance. Not really, not yet. She asked me if I still have it on the camera. I do. But until I took my camera and prepare the video - the bimbo made her remember enough. We worked a bit about it. How to do it faster like doing it without touching the floor. Andreu came with too much caffeine and start to copycat the move. The other class has started. Ansreu has started to play for us a buleria. We started to practice our old steps, dance a bit, and we made a "chain" of some of those things, include some steps we started to work on last week and some new steps from today. We danced it all together few times. Than - stand in a circle. We made it in couple. I won't start with all, but accept Ilan - we all made it twice, once with one person and second time with someone else. Ilan and snobbish started (all I tell for now about turns). I'm used to the fact he do it great till I didn't notice mistakes, but even he made one or two in this part. When it came my turn - first of all I made it with the one that I start to like. Still, she so unsure in herself and I wasn't sure this time that I remember all yet, so it was a bit hard. We needed to start again not much after the we started our first trail. My second time was with the bimbo. Although I don't like her much - she was sure in herself, she knew what she was doing, and I already made my first trial as a couple. It was easier and it felt better. Neta also said it was good. I've been asled to take a video of this and upload to the group. After this try and video - we got a bit time to think how do we do it alone, if we wanna change something or not and do it alone. Most of girls made it. By the turns - Ilan was suppose to be before me. No, I;ve been called for duty. I looked at Ilan and thought how did he made to snick it... I was sure I will be the last one. It started well, but I didn't hear all time where in the music is each part and I got a bit confuse in few times. A short thing, some I made it and some things has been ruin. Well, Andreu noticed in one point that I wasn't sure, so he made it louder and harder the music for making it more clear to me. It helped but after I made some stupid mistakes. Ilan didn't get out from it. He was the last one after all. He made it perfect. Oh dear, how much more work do I need to get this level? Not that I can complain, he's a professional. And Andreu started to respond in a way that they both made us a little funny/cool show. It looked like Ilan pretty danced around Andreu and andreu... He changed places all the time to fit Ilan and they both were in the circle. They both went out together like fin la fiesta. They got a lot of claps from all of us in the end. In the end of class we all sat on the floor. Neta gave us some papers with a paint of a tree and all the "grow" of flamenco with it's palos. We has a little talk to get it. And Andreu played us solea and alegria for we could hear the difference and the connection. For that he took a chair for making it easier. So.. End of class and I still have some work
