The show of Adi Akiva in Hedclub

I can say it was good, but... don't have one thing to say about it. It's about to go to many directions. It was in a place that I heard about and still it was the first time I got there. Well, I live in Tel Aviv and love it, but it doesn't mean that I love EVERYTHING in this city. This place is in a bad area of the city and I have to say that I'm brave that I went there alone. I was so nervous about the coming there (wasn't sure about the place inside the area and still wanted to be in time to catch a place in the club). I got there too early. Only couple of very adult people (looks like in the end of their '50) came there and wanted to know where is it and how to get in. Sorry, can't help much. It looks like the right place, too less people and too close. They got nervous that maybe someone gave them the wrong information. Shuky Shveiky and Ofir Atar came out from a building nearby that had a sign it's something else. They took a part in the show. The people who came to see the show went to talk with them and got in somewhere. Later on came few more girls who didn't know what's going on. They asked me about the place. I'm not sure... I was nervous cause it was weird and there was a person who was looking for too long in the garbage over there. And the parents of Adi came. I know it were them cause two of the girls there knows them and told the others who are they. And came another girl. I don't know why - I wasn't alone there (maybe she saw my face before) and asked me about where to get in while she was chewing a gum very loud. I said I think it near where I stand. Then she saw Shuky and Ofir and was kinda yelling at me it isn't there, it "there" (where they sat). She hugged Ofir and got in. One of the girls said it's probably there cause "someone who looks like a flamenco dancer got in there". I went with them and asked Shuky. Yeah, it was there. Weird. It had some stairs to a kind of a basement who looks really fit to the horrible area. Ok, two people stood near a table. They have been asked if to pay there (the payment was in cash before the show). The man said that all goes to him, but it was a joke. A moment after came a girl with a box and tickets. Someone brought brownies. One of the girls who came to see the show asked if it's for "us". The tickets has been sold, the door was near. It was possible to get in and give away the tickets. It's like a pub. In the start - a bar in the left (with the brownies) and from the right was another table. There was someone that I'm sure that I saw before in other flamenco things, but can't remember where. She sold CD's of Yael Horwitz who also took a part in the show. She and Shuky sang and Ofir played on the guitar. Till the show began - the CD of Yael was in the system. After moving on - a stage which looks more for rock shows with a piano on it. For watching - many heavy chairs around little wooden tables. The family of Adi (and mostly the mother) made a little mess around their places. Hard to say that I knew anyone although I saw some familiar faces. The place got full after a while. Behind me sat the girls from outside that I got into the place after them. One of them probably didn't know for which kind of show she came. She said it probably won't be only flamenco, cause which scene there is here? If I knew her before - I have a feeling that I could give her a speech about the scene that she isn't aware about. While I was still looking for people that I know - I saw one more girl that I was sure that I saw before. I looked on her and tried to remember. When she caught my eyes and said "hello" I got it. She's a friend of mine in facebook which I never met officially before (although she did got that we both were in the feria in last spring and even then - it was after watching the photos in facebook). We tried to talk with the noise around (almost impossible). The brother of Adi came in the last moment to take a video. He wasn't prepare well with the batteries for the camera. The show has started in a late of half an hour. The one who isn't aware started to talk with the brother. She was nervous because of the late cause she have a flight tonight. The show itself: it was great but not perfect. Adi was great and so did the musicians. Still - they published it's a show of Adi and nothing else. It looked like a show of the musicians no less. Until she got to stage - they made a lot of music without her. It started with a tango (of the musicians). It was wonderful. She got into stage something like in the third song. A palo that I didn't reconize. but it's a jondo for sure. She showed an amazing control on her body and movement. She has her own special style. I'm not sure that others can do it and look good, but it fit her wonderful. And a lot of music. Two or three more songs till Adi got back to dance a solea. In one point it stopped. The music stopped and she stood on stage. It was beautiful enough that she will get lots of claps (and I can understand it). When the claps got relax after a long time - Adi got back dancing and the musicians responded to her. From this part on - it was a buleria. It was fun as buleria should be. More music without her, a lot of music. The sound wasn't too good. I noticed in this part. It didn't over till the end. When she got back to stage - I probably wasn't too much in a mood to get the palo myself. It was a;ready late and I was tierd. I'm not sure if it was an alegria all part or just finished as one. A lot of loud claps. End of official show. Shuky said that now it's about fin la fiesta, so they want their friends from the audience (who ever wants and can) to come to stage to make palmas and maybe dance as well. The one who sold the CD's got up, a young guy and one one more woman. Adi called to Carmel and Or. They (I guess it's them) came after the palmas has started. It was enough for me to make palmas from my seat. The first woman who got up to stage (who just came to see a show) made some steps. She was wearing shoes without heals. It didn't matter cause she did a really nice part while Shuky sang. Then - Yael sang. Shuky made a part. I already know what he usually do, it wasn't that. He did something crazy and longer that his usual. Include some faces that made a laugh (I have a feeling he meant to make some). He came back sinning. Ofir came to dance. He looks a bit shy, but made a try. After few steps of nothing special - he made a crazy part as well that made the audience to laugh a bit. I almost forgot that he's a singer as well (accept being a guitar player). He sang and Yael danced a bit. After what happened before - it wasn't more than nice (although it was good). I don't remember who sang last when Adi made her part. She made a real show in this part as well. In the way out 0 I wrote my details to get some information about more flamenco shows there (even that..). The girl from facebook asked me about the best way to the train station. After that - getting back home
