I have quite a lot what to say about this show. It wasn't perfect, but I loved it, mostly because of Miguel Angel. Looks like he took all the lights and glamour to himself there easally, although he wasn't the only tallented person there.
They made it like a play without talking. The only words were sang. On the music were Moy Natenzon (cajon and other percotions), Yechiel Hason on guitar, and Shuky Shveiky on guitar and sinning. And there was also an actress/singer who is very famous in Israel. Her name is Galit Giat. I'm not crazy for her as an actress, but GOD, what a voice she has! She has an amazing voice and she knows how to use it in sinning. And she sang. It ain't the full list, but its most of them and those I can write without getting confused.
It was also a mix with tango, and one of the main dancers here is a tango dancer, a new guy to me. And he's quite tall, something like Miguel...
It starts as showing the people, and that mean someone who isn't a dancer or a musician, but takes a part and paint a part behind while the show is going. And he's the host of the "coffee shop" where it all happen. It was a show of two parts with a brake in the middle. In the second part - he also "play" like he do a metador. I think that the metador was the weakest part in the whole show.
So, the story goes - it's in the 30's, a coffee shop, two men are fighting on one woman (Miguel Angel with the tango dancer are fighting on the heart of Mijal Natan). Most of what they did I liked till loved, but there was a little part that looked like she try to be a prima ballerina which doesn't fit there. And were the two bullies with the famme fattale. That was a great idea in my eyes, accept that dear Miguel "gets some heats" because of it.
So, after a short showing the people without dancing - it starts with a dance of Mija alone on stage with musicians. A dance with bata de cola and shawl. Then came 4 more dancers that danced in the same ide of batas and shawls. It was very impressive, but... Not much awaking from audions. And then they stood, Miguel up on stage without any trick, and it took him something like teo minutes or less to get claps from the audions.
In the first part I thought that Miguel doesn't get enough time on stage. In the second part - he recived a long, wonderful solo. I set there and smiled... He alresay saw my smile and made smile more than once when I was in his class. I was there in the first row alone in this line. Many time he looked to my area and looked like he's staring at me. Ok, grow up! Do I really think that he he was dancing for me and staring at me cause he know I'm there? Well... Maybe.
When the show was pretty over and it was fun la fiesta - he really looked to my place. I saw him stare and almost smile too. He and Mijal were dancing and I was hipnotyze and stared his face and smiled. He looked to me and if I was sure that I have enough light on me - I could be sure he really reconize me there. When the dances were over and all came for the claps - I saw him look at me and do some movement with the head of a kinda "hello". Made my night...
