Fiesta buleria en estudio Pasito (videos)

I finally found out how to upload to the blog videos at the easiest way (but with a lot of waiting time). Now I'm about to upload some videos from time to time cause the this media let me, but it won't be much. I won't upload many videos because most of them are for myself for I would remember dances that I learned at workshops or videos that I take for the studio. One more reason - I still try to make this blog as closest that I can to a magazine, so it still stories, reviews, photos and telling about shows and workshops which I find as interesting - even if I can't go myself.

For a start - the videos which I took few weeks ago at a fiesta I went to. It was at the studio Pasito. It takes a place at Florentin, Tel Aviv. It's a bit late, but rather than not showing it

My body........

One more class that I felt like collapsing into myself to death. Again - not much sleeping at night, even less than the ordinary, This time it isn't my fault. Wanted to go to sleep at noon. Hardly did it. I found out that Rocío Molina comes back to Israel. Three shows for sure, none of them at Tel Aviv. Worked a lot to find out where and when. I made a try to check with whom can I go and to which evening. My friend from Neta's studio don't want to. She said that once was enough for her (I can't understand how). Ilan probably would come too, but he still said "maybe". My friend from Jerusalem wants to come for sure. I still don't have a ticket but we were talking about when it will be the best for both of us for we will meet there. It will be for the show that comes two days after the one I published (and looked like I need to go faster). So, no time to sleep much.

This time - I didn't have a ride to class. It's possible to walk to Mijal's studio from my house, but it's double time from Neta's studio. The bus didn't come, so I walked fast, almost ran to there. Almost at the last moment, but at time to send a text message to Ilan to ask him where is he. No answer. He didn't come and I'm still not sure what happened. Still after yesterday... We still have what to talk about and we were talking it will be this evening.

At the very advances was a guitar player who I never saw before. Between classes Ayelet showed him a part of a dance to work with him. Moran made palmas. It looked good but I was too tired to enjoy it.

We made a warming. That was relaxing for a moment. We started to work once on the legs' part. Mijal asked one of the girls who usually at the front to go back to the front. Ayelet came to be between me and the guitar player. Once again. Mijal said we all look tired. She said that it can happen to everyone, but at flamenco we have to be ready all the time for all can happen. We made a lot of practice on the first part. It included many times on very certain parts of it. Then we made all of it. When we finished once from the start to end after a long practice - the guitar player asked if that's all. It looked much shorter. Mijal said it's after repeating all 8 times. Oh, but the way - this is Itamar. After she said his full name I understood that I know who he is. I heard his name before, but I never saw him live (yet). She said that we're the girls. Beautiful girls.
We went on to the other parts. The practice which is more dancing is easier for me, but this time even that was hard and I didn't do it perfect. Near the end - Mijal asked the dragon tattoo girl and the girl from the front to do the last part, just both of them. They made it well. After working a lot on both parts of practice a real dancing siguiriya - we made both together. We made it in two groups. I was at the group that made first the the "second" part - the first between of real dancing. I love this part the most between the three. The other group made to us palmas. We finished dancing - the other group made the last part while we made palmas. We changed the order after that.

Dancing the siguiryia. Mijal asked the girl from the front to tell the guitar player what do we do. She couldn't tell him at a way that could help him. Mijal asked all of us to try to tell. There was a thing that I said what comes next, but it was probably was too quiet. Mijal asked the girl who got married last week what comes next. She said what I said and it was correct. We danced twice before the class ended.

At the way out I asked the guitar player if he will come every week now, He said that only this time cause the ordinary guitar player couldn't come. He asked for my name. I needed to answer twice cause he heard a name which is close to mine

Improvisation again

This time I made a try to come a bit more awake, but too many disturbs around. At the technique class were only four this time - the assistant, her friend, the wicked witch, and... I think it was the Russian, but I can't remember. Andreu was there playing to them. Ilan was already there ready for the next class. Jeans and flamenco shoes...  I went to change. I usually don't mind to change next to other women and recently I don't mind changing next to Ilan, but next to Andreu (although I do respect him) or next to the wicked witch is a bit too much for me. The snobbish woman was there try to be a bit nicer.

Back to the studio. The worked on circles all over. Ilan joined them. The assistant sat down. Oh my god... This time it looked so funny. I know it's cruel to laugh on others abilities, but the girls looked so horrible at the their try. When they finished - the wicked witch sat on the floor and asked to have a dance without circles.

They moved to do the "romantic thing" with low lights. I went to stand next to Ilan. I made a try to finish a conversation from last night. By the way I told him my opinion on men who dance flamenco at jeans (sexy). It looked like that I embarrassed him a bit.

My friend came just on time for starting the class. Ilan took a place at the middle, the assistant and her friend were already next to him at one side, the Russian too close at the other side. As far as it was too close to get in the middle - I made  a try to be the place I usually was last year  - at the right side, edge, close to the wall and door. My friend got stuck between Ilan and the Russian girl.

We've made a practice on the steps we worked on so far. At one of them I found myself getting too close to the wall, the Russian girl too close to me and no one notice. The was difficult...... Like it wasn't enough - Neta asked us to go on more to the wall. I took a water brake - Neta rushed me to go back. One step we do at circle - all girls did it at our places. Ilan made it almost all over, mostly to my side. A bit confusing, but I started to laugh.

We moved to make the solos. Neta asked if she would chose for us the order or do we go on with it ourself, No one answered so she told us the order. For a first round we did it at the order we stood - start by me. I thought I knew what I'm gonna do. Well.... A part was what a meant, but I forgot a lot just at this moment and made many mistakes. I signed that I'm ready to go out. At that point I was correct, but we didn't work on it this year yet. Neta stooped everything for teaching us a salida that fit to tangos. By the way I felt needed to ask another turn. I didn't have to. After a short practice and after the Russian girl took a video - Neta said that I would try again. So, still not perfect but at the second try was much better. The big surprise that the snobbish made me some jaleo, at least at the start. It made me smile and gave me a lot of confidence. The Russian girl was worse. Half of time she just didn't know what to do with herself, stood there without doing much, made many mistakes, almost gave up... After her try she asked if there are rules when to do the parts of it. Of course... ! Ilan made it great. My friend made a mistake or two but was wonderful. The assistant  and her friend were horrible as usual. The snobbish wasn't bad. I made her some jaleo, mostly for thanking her.

Neta let us hear one more letra (house) at the tango we work on. Because of time we made the last round short. I was near the end, felt I'm getting better but missed a thing at the salida. Ilan was almost the last. He was amazing. Neta was pleased cause he wwas much more free in his dance than last year. She wanted to finish the class, but my friend remind her that she didn't do her turn yet. OK, Neta don't want to be the manager of the cuadro any more for she won't forget anyone. My friend was great.

At the way out - Ilan and me were the last at the studio itself. Just start to talk about next week - my birthday (next Friday, needed to be celebrated), his other learning and practice. We went out from building with my friend, the snobbish and the Russian. Next to the car we all stopped and they were waiting till Ilan and me would finish to talk.  I think that the Russian gril got also a ride.....

Keep dancing
